Throttle is a controllable valve that controls the air entering the engine. When the gas enters the intake pipe, it will mix with gasoline to form a combustible mixture, thus burning work. It is connected with air filter and engine block. It is called the throat of automobile engine. There are two kinds of throttle valves: traditional cable and electronic throttle. The traditional engine throttle control mechanism works through a cable (soft steel wire) or a tie rod, one end of which connects the throttle pedal and the other end of which connects the throttle connecting plate. Electronic throttle mainly uses throttle position sensor to control the opening angle of throttle according to the energy required by engine, so as to adjust the intake volume.
Throttle controllers have great advantages, while the advantages of throttle controllers are:
(1) Accelerating the throttle opening and enhancing the static response is mainly achieved by improving the sensitivity of the throttle response. When the system finds that the driver has the desire to accelerate, the throttle will be opened as quickly as possible through the circuit, which makes the sensitivity of the throttle response improved. But POTENTBOOSTER does not reduce the grading of the accelerator pedal signal as many people say. In fact, the accelerator pedal signal is still steplessly adjusted.
(2) Throttle controller has great advantages. It enlarges the acceleration of throttle signal and enhances the dynamic response. When the throttle pedal is stepped down, the accelerator will calculate the change rate of throttle signal according to the step-down amplitude and time. The faster the change is, the stronger the acceleration requirement is, the higher the change rate will be by POTENTBOOSTER, and the better the dynamic response will be achieved.
